About David Mullaney

A Massachusetts-based attorney and business leader, David Mullaney serves as a consulting attorney working in private practice focusing on real estate development and vertical construction. He is relied upon for risk identification and management, contract crafting and negotiation, compliance, and a full range of other services for private real estate investment and development firms.

After receiving his bachelor’s from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, David Mullaney went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the Massachusetts School of Law. His education included studying construction management at the Wentworth Institute of Technology.

As an attorney, Mr. Mullaney has gained extensive experience in Superfund and Brownfield remediation matters. Certified as a mediator in his state, he is a member of the American Bar Association Forum on Construction Law, American Arbitration Association (ABA), and the ABA Fidelity and Surety Law Committee.

David Mullaney’s knowledge of construction law derives in large part from some two plus decades as founder and CEO of the Mullaney Corporation, one of New England's leading and largest open shop vertical construction firms. Realizing annual sales volume well in excess of $100 million annually, the company received numerous awards from the Massachusetts and New York Chapters of the American Institute of Architects. Mullaney's firm derived much of its work from numerous private school clients, from pre-k -8 to preparatory schools and colleges.
